True Story of Amelia Earhart..
True story of Amelia Earhart…
She wanted to be a great aviator but it was the 1920s. She used to work as a social worker as she couldn’t make a living as a pilot.
One day the phone rings and the man on the line had the following proposition:
“ We have someone willing to fund the first female transatlantic flight. Our first choice has already backed out. You won’t get to fly the plane, and we are going to send two men along as chaperones, who will get a lot of money but you will get nothing. Oh, and you very well might die while doing it.”
What did she say? She said YES..
Less than five years later Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic.
Lesson?
Making a start is important, anywhere, anyhow. Without worrying whether the conditions are perfect or whether you are being slighted. Once you get some momentum, then you can make things work.
